Original Art - Fantastic Four #051 Pg 14 (1966) by Jack Kirby

May have run this before but it’s gorgeous enough for a rerun. And if I haven’t, I have now.

Literally Fantastic to see the original artwork of this classic page.

Artist Billy Graham and writer Don McGregor, the team behind Jungle Action’s 1970s “Black Panther” stories, over which there were often battles with editors. “They continually wanted white people in the strip,” McGregor said. “That was a major deal. My feeling was, you’re dealing with an isolated, hidden African culture—so where were these white people supposed to come from? It probably was the only mainstream American comic book to feature virtually an all-black cast…. It was a fight every single issue.”http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Black-Panther-Volume-1/dp/0785163239

Hey internet, wanna try something silly? If you’re near a printer, and going to NYCC, you can print out a bunch of these and leave them at Comic-Con. It’s just a little something that helps demystify the whole comic making process.

This isn’t exactly self promotion, I don’t care to see my name or site on any of these. I’m just putting it out there, that making your own zine is really, really, really simple. And you can start as tiny as multiplying one page into eight. And one post into thousands.

^Very useful!^ :D

I think I should do a new mini comic this way…
